Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click on the “Sign in” button in the upper right corner of the navigation bar. On the emerging window, go to “Register” and fill out the form. You’ll receive a confirmation email to the address you provided. Click the link in the message and set your password. You’re ready to go!
Why haven’t I received any confirmation emails?

We have an automated response system. If you’re waiting for a notification to create an account, become a vendor or add or update a listing, please check your spam or junk mail. You can add our address to your contacts so this doesn’t happen again.

If you still can’t find it, please try applying again or write us a message explaining the situation and we’ll help you out.

Why can’t I add a listing to my bookmarks?

You need to be an active LGBTQ Planet subscriber in order to have access to some features such as adding bookmarks, adding listings, or submitting reviews. It’s free and it will take you less than a minute: Register now.

How do I remove a listing from my bookmarks?

Click on the small heart in the upper right corner of the navigation bar. This is your wishlist. To the right of each listing, you’ll see a small “X” button, press to delete. You can add a listing again anytime you want.

Why can’t I upload my picture or video?

If you are having a hard time uploading a picture or video to our servers, it’s probably because the file is too big. Please read the preferred properties for each instance below:

  • Profile Avatar: 2MB
  • Listing logo: 32x32 px
  • Listing header background: 1920x1080 px
  • Featured image: 128 MB
  • Gallery photos: 1920x1080 px
  • Promo video: 128 MB

We suggest you use an online tool or software to compress your files before you try again.

Why can’t I add a listing to my bookmarks?

Your profile needs to be upgraded to the vendor before you can add a listing. Go to your dashboard and click on “Add a listing” at the top of your feed. Please complete the contact information in your profile before you apply.

How long does it take for my vendor profile to be approved?

After you’ve applied to upgrade your account to vendor status, you should receive an email informing you of a waiting period of up to 72 hours. At this time, our agents manually assess your application. If you provided an email address or phone number, please bear in mind they might contact you to confirm your personal information. If you’ve been referred by an LGBTQ Planet Ambassador, your listing will be approved without further requirements before the waiting period is up.

Do I need to fill out the whole form in order to add a listing?

Some fields in this form are required, some aren’t. You’ll be able to identify them by the asterisk (*) next to the title or an error message upon submission. We do want you to know that the more complete your listing profile is, the better and more trustworthy your brand will look to potential customers and the more motivated they’ll be to acquire your products or services.

How long do I have to wait for my listing to be approved?

What is my area code?

When making international calls, there is a numbering plan that assigns a specific area code depending on your location. If you’re not sure what yours is, there are a number of free online services you can consult for more information using your preferred browser. This information is required to approve your vendor and listing profiles. 

What are my longitude and latitude?

You can also type in the address or use the marker in the map to point out your location. The latitude and longitude are not necessary to identify where your business is located, but it is the most accurate tool for geographic placement. If you’re not sure what yours are, there are a number of free online services you can consult for more information using your preferred browser. The specific location of your business is required to approve your listing profile.

LGBTQ Planet stands strictly against the discrimination of individuals or groups based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristics or conditions. If you engage in disrespectful or violent behavior towards any member of our community, your account will be immediately suspended.

If we detect inconsistency in your personal, listing, or vendor profile, your account will be momentarily suspended and placed under investigation until the situation is sorted. Our agents might contact you as part of the evaluation process. During this time, it will not be available to any other subscribers or vendors browsing our website.
